The publication date of the book therefore post-dates all the Penguin Editions but David Colbert’s first copyright appears to predate the Penguin Editions. As D C’s researches into J K R’s works were unauthorised, it appears that D C was perhaps the victim of some plagiarism. A theory. Either way copies of O’Mara’s publication are rare. The 2007 edition is maybe unique, definitely hard-to-find on the net. Maybe pressure was brought to bear on O’Mara to stop publication? My explanation for the exhorbitant price being asked. Make of it what you will, it remains essential reading for those who wish to understand the world of Harry Potter and or J K R and or Penguin, Warner Bros.
