All our books are cleaned, restored if necessary and covered in polyethylene (clear plastic).
ALL our books are thoroughly cleaned, restored if necessary and covered in 50 or 75 micron High Density Poly Ethylene ( “plastic” archival acetate film) Soft-covers and hard-covers without Dust Jackets are covered in adhesive plastic.
Covering book means that the common edge-wear described by so many dealers is mostly absent in our books. All “plastic” is easily removable and is not adhered to the book nor to the dust jacket. We do not use sellotape nor any other tape which discolours.
We restore books where necessary and describe only exceptions to a perfect state. Faults in expensive books are described in detail. Once restored, the majority of “faults” are visible only with great difficulty.
