No 485 of 4000 copies. 100 colour plates painted in great detail, show the flowers life size, superimposed on a finely pencilled background depicting the habitat of the plant. The accompanying text includes the history of each plant and other relevant information. Please expect much extra postage. It would appear that Frandsen, the original publishers, were unable to complete the first edition, which was then taken on and finished 2 years later by Southern Publishers so that the total print run from both publishers was 4000 ordinary/ standard copies as planned.
