Douglas Goode Cycads of Africa

Like cycads themselves, this book has taken a long time to reach fruition, Douglas Goode has worked on it for almost 21 years. During this period he has also held mine on man exhibitions of his paintings, both of cycads and landscapes, and has illustrated three posters depicting the cycads of three South African provinces in which these plants occur. The posters have a strong conservation message and are contributing significantly to public awareness of the need to conserve cycads, several species of which are on the verge of extinction in the wild
