Authored by J.J.A Van der Walt and P.J. Vorster with illustrations by Ellaphie Ward0Hilhorst. Published by the National Botanic Gardens of Kirstenbosch in 1988. Hard cover bound this First Editon copy is in Fine condition, covered in plastic with a Fine dust jacket.  ISBN 02583305 or 062011074. The size of the book is 288x217x20mm, with 149 pages, plus xxiv page pre and post script including a bibliography, index of names, index to volumes 1 to 3 and glossary.

The red colour on the front of the dust jacket has bled slightly leading to some blurriness. Book has a sticker whited over on ffep.  This vol has 50 full page colour illustrations with line drawings and distribution maps. All 3 volumes in this set are scarce but Vol 3 is most in demand because it carries the combined Index (might also have been a smaller print run).
