All library stamps have been removed, except for one kept to show provenance and date. W A F. George Fletcher MacMunn (1869-1952) was an English soldier and writer, the British commander in chief in Mesopotamia (1919-1920) and quartermaster general in India (1920-24). This collection of stories throws much light on the characters involved in governing India.
