No date but between 1858-74. New leather on spine with gilt title; The front cover has gilt titles (reworked in part) and embellishments; the rear has the same embossing without gilt; all edges gilt but tarnished. Occasional finger prints but really very little signs of use. 2 different title pages – one in colour, Preface; one strip re-enforcing in channel. Old Testament 944 pages in double columns, (last page torn and repaired); 4 pages Family Register – all blank; New Testament 288 pages. Scripture Chronology; Proper Names; Tables; Biblical Cyclopaedia 48 pages in quadruple columns; Psalms of David in metre, and Hymns (words only) 56 pages in triple columns. Lithographs in colour (22) and 3 b&w and 8 coloured maps in 4 plates – most have tissue guards intact – unfortunately no list but one tissue guard has no plate, therefore missing?.
