Very Minor blemishes on the leather ; 5mm dog ears in 2 places over 4 sheets each (look carefully ). 4 raised bands on spine with title in gold on a skiver; gold Springbok emblem on front. xv plus 736pp plus 53pp supplement on “How to Play Rugby” and “”Some Notes on Rugby Football” by prominent players; incl 4 pp b&w photos but the “Laws of the Game” promised on the title p was never included. Frontis and b&w photos – many full p – thru’out the text but no list. INCLUDES: a newspaper clipping “The Stalag Springboks”, who played “Test Rugby” in their P O W camp in Germany W W !!. This binding seems to be a “one-off” and has been done to the Standards expected of a Limited Edition without being signed or numbered.. RARE and collectable and cheaper than other available copies .
