Tales Told Again

3 pages have tears but now repaired with non-staining tape. Head and tail of spine were worn, but now strengthened on inside of channel; binding firm and square, the corners & extremities a little rubbed, with some rubbing to the rear board; beautiful upper board is clean and bright. The contents are mostly clean throughout, but the title page vignette has been lightly scribbled on. Publisher’s original brown cloth with gilt titles and decorations to the spine and upper board; illustration tipped on front board. Gold end papers. Top edge gilt, all other edges untrimmed. 30 wonderful colour plates. A collection of unusual fairy tales illustrated by the Scottish artist Katherine Cameron who studied at the Glasgow School of Art and was a member of The Glasgow Society of Lady Artists.
