The contents are mostly clean throughou, but the title p vignette has been lightly scribbled on. Publisher’s original brown cloth with gilt titles and decorations to the spine and upper board; illustration tipped on front board. Gold end papers. Top edge gilt, all other edges untrimmed. 30 wonderful colour plates. A collection of unusual fairy tales illustrated by the Scottish artist Katherine Cameron who studied at the Glasgow School of Art and was a member of The Glasgow Society of Lady Artists.
