The dust jacket has been much strengthened on the verso; a title and author with dates has been neatly hand-printed on the spine; some closed tears and 5 small chips( largest 38x15mm) filled with matching paper. The book has minor wear on the top and lower edge; bookplate of M L Hind. 20 colour plates and 15 b&w illustrations. Clearly a private printing, my guess it was paid for by the 2 authors and distributed by Central News Agency. The works show much more versatility than would normally be credited to Carter.
