Racing Canoeing

R4,500.00

Dust jacket is bumped and slightly scuffed on one corner, head and tail of spine. The book appears unmarked and unread except by me the reviewer. Undated but post 1989. 38 Tables; a 212 total of colour and b&w photos and sketches. VERY RARE.

With the exception of surfski-ing, and river racing, this is the most important book on flat-water racing ever written on all disciplines of canoeing. Authored by the long-time coach of Hungary, the long -time pre-eminent leaders in world canoeing, except for the South Africans & Australians with respect to surfski and river marathons. It is important to know that S Africans speak of Canoeing when they mean Kayaking. Hungarians and this book follow both disciplines so they distinguish them.
