Water stains, 70x20mm, extend into the first 4 sheets. Rear cover has 3 punctures thru the cloth & another 3 which did not penetrate the cloth; 25mm tear on hinge, all now repaired.
All pages yellowing but un-foxed. Book has xv plus 373pp, frontis with very foxed tissue guard, which should be discarded, 20 text illust, 2pp ads.. First Edition.. Hard Cover Navy Cloth, Illustr. Good in Plastic./None. Illus. by WHymper, Charles and Keulemans J G.. 227x29p47mm.
