Nommer 842 van ‘n beperkte oplaag van 1000. NOT signed where it should have been on the page where the number 842 is recorded. This book has amazing printing faults and must have been a reject. Pages 1-4 , 81 and 112 are entirely missing; pages 82 – 111 are printed on the wrong side of the paper,  on the recto ,not the verso. I wonder how many more copies were rejects and were junked? REPRINTED twelve years later in 1987 in hardcover and 1994 in soft cover. This Taurus edition is definitely very rare and probably broke the author’s heart. If it were a stamp it would be worth a fortune. It is therefore a surviving curiosity. Make an acceptable offer.
