Map contained in a yellow card wrap Stamped signature of John Wood Covers EMMAUS, HOPETOWN, JACOBSDAL, Modder R, Orange R, Vaal R and the following Mines ( No Big Hole) Ottoskopje, Taylor’s Dam, Kamfer’s Dam, De Beers, Bultfontein, Du Toit’s Pan, Premier and St Augustines There is a red line running diagonally thru the map from S-W to N-E Its significance is not labelled but it probably demarcates the boundary between the Cape Colony and the Orange Free State All farm names are shown including Magersfontein which straddles the “boundary” as do many other farms (but not all)
