Very slightly rubbed on rear, more so on front edges and corners. all faults have now been restored / repaired. Very rare in this edition. A double set of coloured illustrated end papers both front and rear ( printer’s fault?) 61pp. Noddy is a source of goodness and light as is his wont, but has to deal with criminals and bad behaviour, which lends significant social and psychological importance to E B’s work, Please see also our # 13726 for a hard cover, first edition. N B – I am not sure that this is a First Edition. It looks too new, especially next to our #13726. On the other hand Sampson Low, Marston definitely were the first publishers, Purnell were the first printers and the only date given in the book is 1951. So my guess – it is probably a First Edition but a later impression since the illustrations and the font are identical.
