Authored by W.H. Maxwell and published by Bickers & Son of London in 1886. Hard cover bound, this New Edition, Revised, Condensed and Completed is in Very Good condition and covered in plastic. The size of the book is 218x147x31mm, with 387 pages. Dedication inscription in ink on verso of ffep can be removed on request. 3 and 4mm split on head and tail have been repaired on verso; spine is slightly faded from green to brown; 4 corners very slightly worn. Marbled endpapers, all edges gold, elaborate gold decorations inside edges and outside both covers. Gold titles on spine; 5 decorated panels with 5 raised bands on spine. 387pp; With Twelve illustrations in Permanent photography; numerous engravings on wood, and plan of the Battle Of Waterloo.
