EAGLE DAYS

R475.00

A STUDY OF AFRICAN EAGLES AT THE NEST

Eagle Days was first published in 1973, it was soon out of print and subsequently became a collector’s item. This reprint stems from popular demand.

It is published in its original form, and in the interim Rhodesia has become Zimbabwe. However, the freshness and enthusiasm of the original text has been left unchanged, and Peter Steyn’s purpose in communicating his enjoyment of eagles to others remains.

The authoritative yet readable text tells of the poetry of eagles, in the author’s words to study a creature as magnificent as an eagle at close quarters is something which has to be experienced to be appreciated. The chapter on the little known African snake eagles is a particular highlight.

The numerous full colour and black and white illustrations are an outstanding feature of this book and have been widely acclaimed,  they are a testament to the author’s patience over a period of twenty years.
